On Saturday, November 1st, Trigg Ison Fine Art in association with Anna and Peter Bogdanovich will be hosting a private opening for the landmark exhibition “Borislav Bogdanovich: Impressions.”
Borislav Bogdanovich was a Post-Impressionist/Modernist painter and well-known member of the foremost circle of painters in the former Yugoslavia. After an absence of over thirty years, the work of Bogdanovich, once exhibited alongside masters such as Renoir, Matisse, Picasso and Chagall, will be seen again. The exhibition will feature early drawings circa 1917-1939, and cityscapes, still lifes, figurals, nudes, portraits and self-portraits.This historical collection contains over a thousand paintings, drawings, sketches and studies executed in a variety of media including oil, gouache, watercolor, mixed media, pen and ink, pastel, charcoal and pencil. The exhibition will be available to the public from November 2nd – November 30th.

LA-based artist Paul McLean's career has spanned the evolution of digital media as a fine artist tool. On October 18 at 4PM, Timothy Yarger Fine Art and YARGER STRAUSS Contemporary will host an evening art talk with McLean, the gallery staff and friends.
The artist will discuss emerging trends and collector strategies for New Media in the context of his current exhibit, entitled "CONTENT," on view now in the Beverly Hills gallery. McLean will use the "CONTENT" narrative as a point of departure for a lively and interactive conversation with gallery visitors, focusing on vision, traditions of artistic meaning and presentation formats.
